I think I already know the answer to this, but maybe, just maybe someone
can tell me how to do it.

I have picked up where I left off a few years ago and am now continuing the
renovations. I'm presently in the bed 'room' area of the Kingsley. It is a
standard configuration with the wet bath on the passenger side and the
closet on the driver's side.

Today I lowered the rear plastic cap, that piece of plastic that houses
the rear speakers and is a one piece unit that spreads from one side to the
other in one piece and down on both corners.

Soooo, finally the question....How do I get that ' thing ' out of the
coach for painting and minor repairs without taking out the rear window.
It's not a big job to remove the window, I'd just rather not do it!

Thanks

Mike in NS

My rear cap - two separate pieces - fit through the open rear window with
just the screen removed if I remember correctly.

Mine went through the side door with no trouble. I didn't have cabinets in at the time though.

Mike, The inside rear cap can be maneuvered out through either rear side window.

For your floor plan the pass side would be the best side. The bed in place may be the ?. I didn't have
the bed in when I did that.

It helps having one or two helpers outside.

Thanks guys...I'll try out a side window.

For those of you who got it down the hall and out the door, I wish I had
been there to see how you did it

The side window does sound even easier than taking out the back one.
We'll see if I can provide an update tomorrow.

Again..Tks I did have another option but lifting the body off and cutting
out the floor seemed inefficient .

Did you try the side window, stick one leg out and then the top and then the last leg. Should be able to get it in and out that way.
