While stopping early Thursday afternoon in Elkton, Ore for blackberry pie and ice cream at Arlene's Cafe (since 1958) a light yellow/biege GMC with a yellow historical plate passed by heading west toward the coast.
Anyone know this coach?
For you history buffs; Elkton, on the Umoqua River, was the site of the southern most outpost of the Hudson's Bay Company during the beaver trapping days of the early 1800's.
Small campground on the river in town is a good cheap place to camp with the GMC.

Was the coach a 23' coach with an Oregon historical plate?? Did you notice
if it had Manny's one ton front end system and Alcoas?? No rear ladder and
low profile A/C unit on top?? Driven by a 45 year old woman?? If so, it
was my daughter taking her coach back to Charleston after leaving the coach
for 4+ weeks with Jim Hupy to work on it. This is a 23' side bath early
coach, #241 Painted Desert; it has the orange stripe on the side just under
the front drivers and passenger seats; also had a pair of Ramco mirrors
(painted same color as the coach). Charleston, home of the SOOR rally
over the years............

On second thought, she did not return home until Friday, so the coach would
not have been hers.............
