The system was fine except for an O ring leaking. R-12. Everything original. Compressor was good. So I bought a new Sanden compressor, .and drier. Has SP-20 oil in it for R-134. ( everything else in this GMC is new. So why not the A/C compressor. RIGHT. ) I called Sanden. They told me to use only R-134. I want to use R-12, or Duracool. So now what do I do about the oil? I've been told so many ideas. I have over $600 in this compressor. Distorting a new compressor isn't a good financial idea.
