Don't get confused by the duty terms. Fan clutch duty is determined by the dia, blade pitch, and number of blades. Those terms have nothing to do with how long the clutch will last. Or how much air it can pull in. The ones listed as sever duty are for fans larger then we can install in our GMC's with stock shrouds. Don't install one. The one in my 403, 3.70 GMC comes on very seldom on the highway. Just long hills. And that's with a GVW of 17 to 21,000 lbs. The Hyden website will give you the correct unit to get by the info above.
