I want to thank this forum and all who took time on this Independence Day, for graciously responding to my call for help. I am truly thankful to you all.

This was one of the main reasons I decided to invest in this coach.. Beyond the "cool" aspect.. Money pit and all.. Lol
The community of GMC'ers is truly amazing, and I look forward to being part of it for a long time, God willing...(if she doesn't make me broke first)

I have to give special thanks to Jim K. /AppliedGMC

If you think these are a money pit, try a new one. Pro handler friend pretty much lives in her new < 1 year pusher. Big Cummins died on the road. Warranty covered new pump, injectors, filter, lines, etc. >All< she was out was $1500 for incidentals. The shop foreman told her they billed Cummins around 15 Large. at warranty rates.

And new's not necessarily trouble-free. When we bought a new '97 Safari
with Cat. diesel, it quit running 7 times between Tampa & S.GA. Always
started back up as soon as I got down to 45 mph on the shoulder of I-75, so
we made it home OK. When the Cat. service center said they couldn't find
out what was wrong with it so they could fix it, I told them they WOULD fix
it, even if they had to replace everything in it. That or get used to me
living there. I then told them which oil pressure sensor to change first
(I'd been studying the manual). That corrected the problem of going into
Limp Home mode (Max. 45 mph/135 hp).

That was only one of many things I had to do over the next year to finish
building the $200K coach. :-(

We sell lot of parts to the community, so it is only proper to help in any
way we can.
We have all the parts, but beig able to assist is important.
I make myself available from 7:30 am to 10pm 6 days a week and leave me
message on weekends.

Do not believe him.

I have called Jim on many times on Sunday expecting to leave a message and he answers the phone. I think the only day that he takes off is when he goes to rally(s)
