hey, happy July 4th!!; and its a tough day to break down with your new coach!
But my friend Chase just drove down from Jim K’s with his ‘77
maiden voyage back to Las Vegas. He’s parked in my neighborhood…
Won’t turn over, Battery tests fine, Gen light comes on, but no noise from starter.
My first suspicion for quick fix is need for neutral safety switch bypass,
and although i did this operation myself maybe 10 years ago,
i forget which wires(?)
So i’m wondering if somebody could please guide Chase through this operation, asap?
He also picked up a new ignition switch last night right before AutoZone closed, just in case;
and/or… also wondering how to “cut to the Chase”.. and start the coach with a screwdriver?
(hopefully its the not starter or solenoid, ‘cause AutoZone doesn’t have it in stock today)

Chase is trying to subscribe to the GMC forum via his phone right now
(but not sure if that’d go through, today.. in a hurry :)
so he can be reached directly at loungelizard2010@yahoo.com
or (702) 541-3089
(I’m subscribed via digest only, so… since the coach is stranded,
please reply to Chase directly at the address above
or to me at eklektro@gmail.com , thanks! )

What a way to say: Welcome to the group, Chase…

thanks everybody!
