No ferry for us, we will drive back out and continue south. We have found on this trip the best advice is to take every road the goes to the ocean whether in AK or Canada. Glaciers so close it seems like you can touch them line the way. Yesterday while coming out of Stewart, BC, a glacier ended right into the stream beside us. Stunning to say the least.

It continues to amaze us that all this glacier stuff occurs at such low altitudes. We were following that stream out of Stewart so could not have been even 1000 feet at that point.

Where do you go from Prince Rupert?
Are you taking the ferry from there?

I was going to mention Hyder, Alaska.
But I see you went up there.

Heading south out of Prince George, just before Quesnel, go east on 26 to Barkerville.
An old gold mining town, all restored.

Jerry, when you get back to the states, the Cascaders are having a dry
camping rally at the Arlington, Washington on the week of the 7th- 10th of
July. If it matches up with your non-itenerary, stop in. Afternoon and
evening air shows and lots of old and new planes to look at.

I've been Hyderized and saw the glacier there as well as others. We did
not take the roads to the ocean from the Cassiar Hwy, so missed those
others. Y'all are doing it right.
