Too early to tell for sure but I think we will find a surge tank mounted in the air stream ahead of the radiator with a fully submerged fuel pump of the correct pressure will be the ultimate solution to our blended fuel issues and vapor lock. The one commercially available from FiTech seems ideally suited to fuel injection applications and something just like it but with a low pressure submerged pump may do the trick at last for our carb fed coaches.

Just like it does for the EFI applications, This will allow the surge tank to be fed with any combination of mechanical and electric fuel pumps without the need for return lines. A momentary loss of feed to the surge tank will have no impact on drive ability.
