Hello Dolph,

That was an Hobby, MH, german build, on a earlier Fiat Ducato with AL-KO chassis with double rear wheels, the suspention, is build through, multiple steelstubs in a shaft, that looks like the axle ...
They call it in german, "Drehstäbe" .... Is that something like: Rotating rods ?
As time comes they get not that flexible anymore, and replacing them, especially on the older MH, is very costly.
Adding airsuspension is than a more conviniant way of solving the problem.
Greasing them every year, or sooner is a very good thing to do to keep them in shape.
But on a MH from 2001, and when its on the max of its weight .... I think checking the rear suspention is the first thing to do.

You can also look at the websites of: Carthago, Hymer, Niessman & Bisschof, all german build MH they also have their bigger MH on AL-KO chassis with double rear axle. You can choose to order them standard, or with (extra) airsuspention, what I would recommend to do anyway.

This could work under the GMC.
Maybe some day they will be available in the USA.
