Hey guys...

Still working on the interior, painting cabinets and working on lighting layout. Trying to find an low voltage LED Compatible Dimmer switch?

This one is designed for home use, but it says it is LED Compatible? What do you who have done this before think?

Thanks for any help you can provide..

The dimmer you indicated is not a low voltage type, it operates on 110V. If you are using LEDs that are set up to operate on 110 volts, it may be just right, if a bit expensive.

If you are using LEDs that are powered by the 12 volt system in the motor home, use one of these dimmers from ebay or Amazon:

I think you can get them for $5 on Amazon.

Or you can go wireless:

These are both PWM dimmers, what you have to have to dim LEDs. They don't really dim them, they just reduce the duty cycle ON time of the diodes.

The potentiometer has a good feel and gives a smooth dimming action on the one unit, and the wireless one adjusts the PWM in steps. Both are working well for me so far.

Bullitthead is right, you need a PWM dimmer for 12V

I put a bunch in my last camper. You need to have access to the + and - for each fixture you want to dim (or in the case of two lamps together you can link them.
Wireless are good (I put one in my awning lights) but then you have a bunch of remotes.

I also strung these around- i had under cabinet recess lighting so I pulled out the inner panel and wired it in. I could set it inside the panel and still use the ON/OFF switch (it retained the power level)

haven't used this but like it

this also looks slick

Hookup goes +/- lamp wire into the dimmer and then the +/- wire out to the lamp (in series with both polarities)
Do a search for 12V LED dimmer and you'll find all you want. There are wall models too.

I just bought $70 in LED bulbs that claim to have 3000K color temp- I'll see if I need dimmers or not
Good luck!

I think you're looking for one that will look good in your application?
Here's a couple that will work:
