Good afternoon all,
The steering in my 77 PB is far left of anything good. It is a situation
where you're driving straight down the road and the next thing you know
you're heading for the shoulder or ditch.

I was driving her to the shop to change oil driving about 35 then all the
sudden she heads for the curb on my right. I turned the wheel to pull left
but by then I scuffed the sidewalls of my brand new Firestone, damnit.

After the oil change I raised the front and had my guys grab the wheels and
start pulling. Everything seemed tight except for the CV joint on the
lower steering shaft. There was quite a bit of play there. With the boot
being torn open I could see pretty well how loose it is.

I ordered up a new CV joint and boot. The heck of it is now I can't seem to
find how to r&r that piece in my maintenance manuals. I have X-7525 A & B.
Apparently I'm blind or it is not in those two. So where do I find this
procedure? Have any of you replace this part?

Thanks in Advance!
