sorry, newbie with a million questions/ideas/wants

Has anyone setup a second option for a push button to also control the windshield wipers? I'd love to push a button, have them cycle once. since there's no delay; and the windshield is Rain-xed, in misty weather I found myself wanting to wipe across every few minutes, but only once. The lever is hard to move and awkward.

this seems like something I should be able to do?
