Word is there is a "How to" article out there about converting a GMC
Sonoma low-spoke steering wheel for use on a Caddy tilt/telescope
column. I vaguely remember reading this but since it didn't matter at
the moment I didn't store the info away. Tired of the worn,
difficult-to-restore, skinny-rimmed Caddy wheel I have.

Anyone?

This is the wheel I'm converting.

Exact steering wheel on my coach. Yours is prettier. Chuck Boyd installed it, along with the Caddy column. I did not do the actual work, but it seemed to me that he had little trouble just putting it in place. I think John Sharpe's presentation on the replacing of the column included removing and installing the steering wheel.
It is a nice steering wheel.
