Anyone ever use a cable come along to lower just the trans/FD out of a GMC? I have an A frame for use inside to lower the engine/trans / FD out. Seems like that would be more stable then a floor jack. Decided to change the FD before going to Branson today. And as long as I'm pulling the FD. Might as well pull the trans. And rebuild it. Take me about an hour,and a half to rebuild it complete on the bench. As I have all the parts on hand now anyway.Bob Dunahugh78 Royale Mouse House.
