I still running the break-in oil with about 500 miles on the rebuild. Using my infrared laser thermometer, I checked the temp this afternoon of my oil lines after a highway test run. With the engine still idling, I checked both lines at the fitting connection point where the solid lines connect with the flex lines. The upper line's temp (leading to the upper connection on the radiator oil cooler) was 188 degrees F. The lower line temp (leading to the lower connection on the radiator oil cooler) was 195 degrees. I was surprised that the lower line temp was more than the upper line. Is this normal?

Appreciate your input,

Tom Whitton
