I've been approached by someone who would like to do a feature on our great motorhomes for Motorhome magazine.

Quote:
I am writing a series for Motorhome called "The Classic Ride" and would love to do a piece on a Class A GMC motorhome. I am located on Virginia's Northern Neck, so ideally I would like to find a motorhome within a few hours of my location. Could you put out a call to your members to see if anyone would be interested in being featured? I would need to do a short interview and take photos of the interior/exterior. I had hoped to see one in our travels, but that hasn't happened, and I hate to leave out such as classic design.

Thank you for your help!
Ann Eichenmuller

She'll actually be down in West Palm Beach Florida the 3rd week of April during the Tidewater Crab's June rally (close to her house) so I suggested that she meet up with a GMCer or 6 down that way while she is down there.

Anyone willing/wanting/able to be featured in a magazine and get the word out to the general public that yes we are still here and going strong?

Thanks so much.

Just talked to Jim Bounds at the COOP and if she would be interested in
maybe seeing 42 of them then she is welcome at the COOP in Orlando. ...
maybe stay overnight in one.

If not she would be welcome to check out my '73 GMC.

Ann and Eric just left the COOP where we met starting off yesterday. Ann ended up with
6 pages of notes, about 125 pictures and a case of GMC motorhome cultural overload and over night
experience. Fun interesting people. Article set to appear in MOTORHOME MAGAZINE's November
issue.

Question is: Will ANNIE become a cover girl?

Jim,

That would be terrific; however, I would suggest you stay out of the photos as it might mess up the chances!

Ada would help. :-)

Rob M.

Didn't want to break the camera, that's why I stayed out of the

That's awesome Jim! Thanks so much for doing this. I look forward to reading the article. Should be great publicity for these beauties.

Will we see you guys up this way anytime this camping season?

Jerad, You're welcome, the interview was interesting and fun. It was done from the
owner's point of view. ..... why you bought that, what you do with it, etc.
I'm afraid she got an ear full, but the experience was cool. You should invite Ann and
Eric to a TWC rally. The are RVers and also in to boats so they would fit right in. Though
they do lack a GMC motorhome, you could work on that.

Do hope to get up to the 'Crab area for a rally, but have work to do on ANNIE first.

Thanks again.
