My son Alan's heater control has broken -- the usual pivot pin. IIRC, at
one time someone was making an aluminum replacement for that fragile
plastic part. Does anyone have that recollection -- in more detail?

I don't have a sample nor dimension or I'd turn one on my lathe. If anyone
has either of those we could borrow, we'll make them a metal one also.

Failing those options, does anyone recall the source vehicles for suitable
replacements?

We have a rebuilt unit as well, should you not get help.
You can see them on our web site under Heating cooling.

Thanks, Everyone!

I called and got Jeff Sirum as he was about to close shop to the day. He
says he just got a drawer full of the aluminum pins made. Alan can call
him tomorrow morning to get one shipped right out.

That should solve his problem. GMCNet triumphs again!
