Different question so new thread. From my understanding the flywheel hole on the flywheel cover should line up with the hole in the front cover correct? If so mine sits almost an inch low. It was lower, but I noticed one bracket was twisted and another was not mounted right.
There is only about 1/4" clearance that new mounts could raise it before hitting the top of brackets. So I don't think its worn rubber mounts. Holes for the brackets don't seem worn either.
The outlet of the flywheel cover hangs about 1/2" inch below the front cover.
Its got clearance from the starter to the base plate, so no worries about the generator resting on the starter. The positive lead to the starter had been rubbing so I added a piece of rubber hose to protect it.
Is this normal or am I missing a setting somewhere?
Thanks
