Hi All, I’m preparing to install my new front brakes, bearings, seals, pads, and rotors on my 73 Canyonlands. Efforts are progressing well thanks to all the information presented in this forum. I thank you all. I saved a substantial pile of money
on parts and labor. That savings funds the next project.

And I’m already planning the next project. My question: What shocks are the best to use? Without getting too technical, are there special valving available to improve handling? I’m familiar with Bosche and KYB products and was planning to use KYB. The only KYB choice seems to be one used on the front of a 78 Cadillac Eldorado. The factory was unable to help. A rear KYB factory listing is available using a part number specifically for the GMC. So I assume correct valving.
Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Rod
