I have two types of Centric Premium Wheel Cylinders - which model is used for the front rear brake drum? Hopefully the other is for the rear brake drum. Comments, Please!
134.66014
134.62001
I have a 1976 23’ Birchaven with 455 Olds and about 54K miles - am in Lake Oswego, OR. Rig photo is under vpearce.
This Is a great site for we newbies and the ‘Black List’ is fine with me - am not into Facebook, but do use Pinterest at times (lol).
Thank you ahead of time with the information.
When I become more knowledgeable, I’ll join the Black List after renovating our Aluminum Falcon - and doing the following mechanical/electrical upgrades: flushing brake system and installing a new master cylinder (from NAPA), replacing rear shoes and cylinders, packing rear bearings, stainless steel brake hoses on the front and rear and will use Dot 3 fluid, quad bags, foam fire extinguisher in engine compartment, RAMCO mirrors, Progressive Dynamics (PD9270V) 70 Amp Power Converter with Charge Wizard, and Albert B’s Emergency Brake system.
Have passed Oregon DEQ testing thanks to several local repair shops and already installed 2 KYB KG5435 Gas-a-Just Monotone Shocks on the front and 4 KYB KG5436 Gas-a-Just Monotone Shocks on the rear (have one original bag that holds air), replaced interior lights with LED’s and the 16.5-inch steel rims with aluminum and Michelin LT225/75R16 load E tires and had front aligned and new front bearings. Also put temperature and pressure wireless sensors on the six tires and discovered I had a hot bearing.
Presently, I have 6 original hub caps and 9 steel 16.5 inch rims. Also poured a 12.5’ by 24’ concrete pad and wired in a 30A power supply and will cover it with a pergola roof - so have been busy since the end of last September.
The list goes on for interior work (birch cabinets and maybe cork flooring), but that is ‘down the road!’ certainly drives superbly, but the stove with 4 burners and oven and heater work great. Maybe a catalytic in the future (guy up in WA has a vented one available - about 8wk order time) and Applied, Jim B, Jim H, and Carl A have been great with their advice and help.

Have you replaced the fuel lines ad the tank selector and fuel pump
They all have deteriorated rubber and need to be replaced.

On your brake job, replace the combination valve if it is still OEM iron body model. Brass is the way to go. JmK has them.Easy enough while you are redoing the entire brake system. And, get the replacement pigtail also.
