If your exterior paint job appears good. But lacks the shin. I've done this to other RV's. Get some FC Johnson's. Pledge clear acrylic floor wax. It's non yellowing. You can put it on with a new sponge. Or go to Harbor Freight. Get a cheap spray gun. Put it on everything except the glass. Re apply as conditions require. Weather will dictate longevite. Want it off. Use a wax remover. Or. Give it some time in the outdoors.Bob DunahughProud member GMCMI78 Royale

My uncle showed my dad and me this treatment on his '67 Plymouth back in the '70s and it really worked pretty well on that Florida-sun oxidized white Fury. We then put it on the '73 Chevy wagon with the mint green paint and the effect was not nearly as dramatic, but it still left a glossy surface. In neither case was the resultant surface smooth enough for a mirror-like reflection, but we were using a sponge to apply it! It was Future floor wax and we coated that Plymouth in less than 10 minutes after we washed and dried it.

You got that right, Bob. We tried 2 different brands that day, and I think the other one was Johnson's. I think the Johnson's left a thicker finish than the Future. We used brand-new sponges because he didn't want to contaminate his only spray gun with the wax, if I remember right. I don't think he had the proper solvent to clean the gun or didn't know what was the correct solvent. Have you tried using a dollar-store spray bottle to apply that finish?
