Decided to ditch the ladder and rails. Any suggestions on dealing with the
holes? MarineTex for the roof ones? An SMC filler for the end cap holes?
What are the recommended products for sealing holes in that?

Don't want a bunch of rivets. Figured I'd fill the holes, sand flat, and
paint.

Thanks!

You might try what Dale Ropp demonstrated at a GMCMI rally.
Take some foam earplugs. Saturate them in an epoxy mix and then push them about halfway into the holes.
After they harden then cut them off smooth with the outside. Then fill, sand and paint them.

Are you selling / disposing of the ladder? If so, what are you asking?

Seriously, being up there without anything to grab onto is dangerous. I
think if those railings are gone a non skid coating would be mandatory. All
it takes is a little condensation and the roof becomes super slick. And
it's domed.

Instead of the earplugs, if the holes are only 1/8" or so, how about filling the holes with JB weld?
It seams like that would be more of a "permanent" fix. I would think the foam earplug would be the weak link? Yes/no?
