G'day,

I bought one of these off eBay and it arrived today. Both John Sharpe and I were impressed with the level of detail and workmanship.

You can show someone a very small stack of $20s or show them this. I
know which I'd be more likely to ooh and ahh over.

Now that I say that, I'm rather tempted. If I owned a 260 I'd repaint
it to look like mine. I don't imagine I'll section it down to 230
length, so...

Gene,

I have a number of searches relating to the GMC I check frequently (almost daily) and these models are new.

What I'm trying to figure out is what possessed a model company to make them!

Rob:

Passionate base with disposable income, who routinely bid up Barbie GMC’s to stratospheric prices.

Heck, it’s not much more than we drop filling the tanks!

At that price they don’t have to sell a lot of them to make some money.

I remember a guy on either the list or Facebook a while back asking questions pertaining to him creating a model. Probably the same
guy.

I wrote the ebay seller asking about actual American dimensions. He said:
Length 4-1/2"
Width 2-1/4"
Height 2"

Billy,

The seller can't measure!

Its 7 1/4" long (point of front bumper to spare tire)
2 1/4" wide (bumpers)
2 1/2" high (top of roof A/C)

John and I are coming to the MWC mini rally and I'll bring it for everyone to look at.

I'll also bring your relay lever.
