I need some help from all you GMCers. The GMC Assist list, aka, "The Black
List", has been available for 17 years at http://bdub.net/Black_List/.
However there are still only about 6% of us listed as members willing to at
least tell other owners over the phone where they can get parts or take
their GMC for local help.

Would some of you please let me know why folks do not join.

Might it be that I haven't explained the purpose of the list sufficiently?

Do most owners think they are not qualified?

Even if you're away, you can give advice over the phone.

Perhaps I need help with a new introduction. Any volunteers?

Is it too hard to find? Please make suggestions.

Street address is not required as first contact should be by other means.

If you want your email address private, let me know and I won't list it. I
do have to have an email address for annual audit purposes however.

In January I added the Service Providers and Service Comments lists to the
bottom so it is even more valuable to have at hand.

Back last November, with help from Robert Bailey, I linked to a Google Map
to generally locate all members by zip code.

Please help. Respond privately if you want to.

Thanks
