Just got finished using my new torsion bar unloading tool built by Jim Hupy and sold by Applied. I'M IMPRESSED! I have used three different tools, a C type, a U bolt similar to Jim's but not nearly as stout and a home brew one. The others don't hold a candle to Jim's and made the job a nightmare It made the work go from white knuckle affair to a one hand on the wheel drive (almost, anyway). My suggestion, if you do the work yourself and need an un loader tool, is to spring for the one from Applied. You'll thank yourself when the need arises to use the tool. JMHO

That's the one Billy, wish I'd have bought it from the get go. Should have known by now that if you buy HF quality tools, you get HF quality. Not like this tool for sure. HF has it's place no doubt, and I'm not trying to denigrate their stuff, but if you are really going to use the tool a lot, spend the extra for the quality. JMHO
