Is this a good upgrade on the EL11's when the optical sensors and the air compressors start to go out? Thanks, scott

I do not think you can make the assertion that the wireless air works the
best with an Oem airbag system. Wireless air control likes lower air
pressure. Since average operating pressures of the Sullybilt kit are around
the 60psi range it is naturally suited for a controller which prefers sub
100psi numbers. If your Oem airbags/control system/ compressor are
unreliable then replace with Sullybilt bag system, schraders/ wireless and
camp.
Obviously biased message.

I think that the wireless system works well with any system that requires
less than 100 psi. I have installed it on all three GMC systems, and the
Sullybag system as well. As long as the system voltage is equal on both the
compressor circuit and trigger circuit it works reliably. I don't much have
a preference, but the sullybag system is attractively priced if you need to
replace the bags. If money is not a consideration, the quadrabag system
combined with the reaction disc brakes is great. If you do need more than
100 psi to come to ride height, you have an overloaded coach in my opinion.

Todd,
I agree with you. Poor choice of words on my part. The Wireless Air system would work well with your Scully Bag System. It will work fine with any system that uses less than 100 psi.

I think the point here is
IF YOUR OEM AIR SYSTEM WORKS
DONT FIX IT
BUT
http://gmcmotorhome.info/wireless.html
if it breaks, leaks, you run on schrader valves, etc..
you need to go to an END POINT GMC SOLUTION
for the next 40 years
The point is
- you are already there

After scouring the interweb and crunching numbers from the SD truck springs website, to me it looks like a no brainier.. My EL11 system is the most expensive of all the systems to try to rebuild as original. Also comparing prices and qualitity, bang for the buck without sacrificing quality, the one that makes sense to me is the one Jim K sells at applied that was designed by Jim Hupy.
More expensive than the one from SD truck springs, but by the time you Replace some of their pieces (air tank, bigger compressor, etc) applied' will be cheaper in the long run. I look forward to being able to level my coach at a campsite sitting in a lounge chair, with a martini. Maybe technology sometimes is not so bad!!!
