Well,
Nothing like to wait till last minute to do things, so we took off with no
dash A/C
After 180 miles the transmission temp went up suddenly to 220 in the pan
and the noise was loud, so I pulled over to see.
I knew it could not make the one way 2400 mile trip so I turned around and
got back to our shop and reloaded as much as I could in Graces Buick
Enclave.
I'v been driving it 10 mph over the limit and at times over 100 to catch on
lost time and make up for longer pit stops that ladies take.
I'm in a small Texas town just East of El Paso.
Speed limit is 80 so I hope with speedo error and tolllerance, I can drive
88mph.
This is one nice about the WEST.
When I arrive with my coach, no one says anything, but when I have a
problem it seems like more people know.
This is the 3rd time it did not get to the convention, first was my Cad ECM
box went bad ,
Second was my Turbo shaft sheared, and now it seems like it is a
transmission issue.

This is my third Dothan convention and I'm pretty sure I've never seen JimK's coach, although it may have made the first one. That's ok. I like seeing the minivan. Plus it reminds me JimK does a great job with his service. He's so busy helping us, his own coach is being neglected!

Now that I think about it, I saw a picture of his coach once..at least
someone said it was his.
Like Jeremy, I've only seen Jim in a van in Dothan...but I think it was
