The original onan board in my 76 Palm Beach died about 10 years ago. Failure was that it would not energize fuel pump and shutoff solenoid. Worked fine with a jumper. I replaced it with a Dinosaur board which lasted for about 9 years then failed. I used it with jumper wire for a few months and then bought another board from Jim K.

That board lasted a few short months with minimal use and then failed. Jim K. was kind enough to replace it under warranty.

Latest board has now failed after less than 2 months and a dozen starts.

All boards failed in same manner-fuel pump won't run without jumper.

Any ideas as to the cause of new board failures?

My 76 Eleganza Onan is still doing fine with the 40 year old original board.

Thanks.
