It was announced back in 2014, but it's getting enough reviews to have some traction now. 4 stars / 9395 reviews on Play store. Pricey, and not a lifetime license. But $45/yr isn't too bad when you compare it to RV gps hardware. Worth a look.

Something I don't quite get. It says it's for trucks, shows a 18 wheeler. ....
but in the disclaimer says not for commercial applications. ????????

I'll stick with my Garmin 760RV.

This claims it is a one time charge and 50% off @ 24.99 direct thru Sygic.

Sorry, that should be Jim Galbavy: They have a commercial license for Truck Cos.

That's for the regular GPS. The RV GPS seems to be more expensive (129+)

Yeah, and it's only a 3-year license. Still, I'd rather risk that than have another dedicated RV gps brick on me. The RV7720 cost me $300/year at that rate. Besides, a dedicated gps is yet-another-screen in the cockpit.

Rob made me aware of Sygic (car version). I've been using it for around 2 yrs now. It has *plenty* of warts. But just last week, while in a sprawling urban area in the Sprinter, I ditched Waze for Sygic. Their lane guidance is extra-handy.

Ahhh, I just got a clarification from their live chat. The license is lifetime but the "free" map updates are only for 3 years. Sneeky

GoPilot is free GPS. It's in the Windows Store, may be located in th others. Works fine for me in my Windows phone. Your Smart phone must have a GPS chip inside. Apple iPads with only WiFi, do not have the GPS chip internal.

Unless you have a truck or rv gps or app, a car gps can get you into some tight spots. Waze is smart, very smart. And it found a *great* shortcut across a Tallahassee neighborhood to get to the nearest on-ramp. Great for a Honda Fit, that is. Was kinda tight for the Royale.
