Well, we are digging out today. We had 18 inches yesterday. Boulder had 25 inches and much of Denver had 15 or more.
The Denver airport is open again.
This was a blizzard with 40-45 mph winds. The snow was blowing sideways. Interstate 70 was closed from Denver to the Kansas border and many vehicles were stranded on it for up to 12 hours. All interstates in the metro area required chains, even for automobiles. Many wrecks on the roads.
Apparently this storm is heading northeast all the way to the Michigan UP.

When I lived back in Hamilton, Ontario, we had different color snow every day.
It all depended how much crap the steel mills were pumping out.
One day it was black, next day it was red.
Striped snow.
