Anyone actually choose the model FiTech FI. 400 or 600 HP. Seems 600 would be too big and would have to throttle back fuel too far at air flows at 3000 RPM. That screws up turn down. Does changing intake to an Edlebrock 2151 performer worth it in performance? Got to get rid of the carb now! What's the best high pressure fuel pump. I prefer run the recirc line back to the tanks.

I ordered the 400HP system and there fuel pump and lines as I have an HEI distributor and the timing control only works with a points type ignition.

Besides the limitation to point ignitions, there seems to be no knock
sensing capability. As far as I'm concerned, without feedback from knock
detectors, "computer controlled" spark is little better than a well
calibrated mechanical advance -- it's just easier to adjust (software vs
hardware). Most of us with EFI and spark CONTROL believe the spark control
is as beneficial as the fuel control.
Sure would be nice to have simpler wiring though! :-)

Dolph,
Yes EBL takes a knock sensor. It also will take a Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) and Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensors.
It does Lean cruise and Deceleration Fuel Cut Off, (DFCO)(its fun to see the display goto 99MPG going down a hill)
It can use both wide or narrow band O2 sensors.
