My web site is http://jerrywork.com. thedovetailjoint.com belongs to someone else but is no longer active. At one time it was an acid rock group out of the Chicago area.

The offset spacer Manny supplies with his 1 Ton kit is the required offset amount for 16” wheels to clear the larger calipers and rotors. I doubt if you could find a 16” wheel that would fit with a lesser offset. I don’t know about 17” or larger wheels. The 1 Ton bearings are designed for that offset so no issue as there can be with spacers on the stock front end. As Jim said, some coaches will experience some level of torque steer but it is well managed and only appears for most when accellerating up hill while turning. There is nothing to be gained by moving the front wheels out to be the same width as the rears. The factory easily could have done so, but they elected not to. The rear wheels were widened as much as possible to keep the tire wells from intruding too much on the interior. No such issue with the fronts whether they were moved in or out.

If you go onto machinesoflovinggrace.com I think you will find excellent
pictures that will answer your questions better than I can. If you can't
find them there, look on thedovetailjoint.com That is Jerry Work's site.
Click on gmc link.
