Quite some time ago I got new shocks. They came with new bolts in the top.
Today I tried to install them. The bolts supplied do not work.
The old shocks and bolts are long gone.
What to do?

Jim K can probably help...even if you didn't get the shocks from him.

If not, go back to the supplier you bought them from.

I'll call Jim in the morning. I did get them from him.
I don't know why they include these bolts if they don't work.
If they came with no bolts, I would have kept the old ones.

Call Jim tonight; he is normally in the office until 10pm week nights. I
always call him around midnight my time (EST).

It must be Bilsteins, as they are inconsistent, and our guys are getting
sloppy at inspection.
Yes I am the biggest critic of our people as I get the blame and hold
myself responsible.
Parts are inspected, but when we receive 24, we will randomly check 2-4 .
Now we need to fight the manufactures.
Sometimes I'm the one that has to be the JAP and jump on them before they
want to send the shortages promptly.
Lot of you know how much I can be that way as I learned that being a nice
polite Asian does not get proper action.
Customer service starts from the manufacture then through us.
When Jarden's made a major mistake, I paid the freight on the return, as
they have been so great to work with.
So now our relationship is even better than before.
I have been on all sides of automotive parts distribution and value
relationships.
I want to hear when something is not correct, as if it can be corrected
before it continues.
Keep in mind, if you have never purchased from us, we would be fools if we
did not want to help you and earn your future order.
Thank you for reading my rant.

Assume Jim won't see this. Call 800-752-7502 or 510-742-1101 to explain what you have and he can explain what he has that will make it right and get it shipped.
