Almost done with everything on the bottom side. Tomorrow put both fuel pumps in, change trans fluid, and filter. All fuel, and vapor rubber line were done last week. Gas tanks cleaned, and installed with steel lines on the top of the tanks. Gas tank heat shield's installed. Brake system components in, and bleed. Bleeding went well, and in under 20 minutes. Rear wheel bearings greased with new seals. Quad bag system installed. All wiring under the floor removed, cleaned, fixed, and put in small plastic conduits. All interior wiring got the same treatment. 9- 110 volt, 10 - 12 volt, and 2 inverter circuits. New roof TV antenna, and 100 ft of all new coax cable with booster. 7 new Eagle rims, and tires installed tonight. Full size ADA approved porcelain toilet, porcelain bath sink with faucet, kitchen sink with pull down sprayer faucet, and 2 new holding tanks with drain valves arrived today. Got the tanks from Jim K at Applied. Very nice holding tanks, and valves. Then finish welding the entry door. Wed. start cutting the body for the 36 inch door. Other then that. I have nothing to do.Bob DunahughMember GMCMI.

You're making the coach wheelchair accessible? A second door or enlarging?

Barb,
Wheelchair access.
Linda has had to use a wheelchair for some years now.
Bob has done some interesting modifications to the coach to make it accessible.

Barbra . I widened the entree door by 7.5 inches in the 78 Royale that burned in Nebraska last August. The entire top was gone from the belt line up. Thus we refer to it as the convertible GMC. It had a 36 inch ramp for the door stored under the coach for the power wheelchair. Then inside had a couch that pulled out to make a bed. Or lowered at one end to be a ramp so Linda could drive her chair up to the passenger seat position. The 78 Royale that I'm working on this time will also have the widened door, and exterior ramp. Then have a full ADA drive in shower. The kitchen will have a lowered Corian counter top. All recessed LED lighting, and Maxx fan well be controllable by remote controls. All city water, electric, and cable services will be hidened behind the rear license plate. Plan on having in Alabama next month.

Rule #1: Never add up the cost on an oldie - it just upsets you. Next thing you know, you'll be pricing out the Stingers.
