So I bought the Applied 455 Intake gasket set with the stainless block off plates. All I received is the two gaskets and stainless inserts, no end gaskets and no basic instructions. As I've done about a zillion intake gaskets before I didn't think much of it till I read a few messages specifically mentioning them, then thought well heck I didn't get any, ha ha.

I'm assuming standard procedure?

- Thoroughly clean
- Use something like Permatex high tack sealant to glue gaskets to heads
- Use bead of RTV for end gaskets
- Try hard to not drop zillion pound intake during placement
- Torque bolt in proper order to 25lbs (just guessing need to look up torque)
- Celebrate with cold beer

Anything I'm missing, or special for the stainless inserts?

Many thanks
