Just wondering if anyone has found a significant difference in brake performance on the one ton with any particular brake pads? Or with Manny's rear brakes for that matter. Just wondering...

Hal, I install semi metallic linings when I do a 1 ton install. Unless
there are ceramic pads on the rear discs. Then, I use ceramics up front
too. Several manufacturers make them.

Thank you Jim but I guess I didn't form my question very well. I'm more interested in the manufacturer of any above average (great) pads. I agree on the semi metallic's as they seem to take the heat better even if they are a little 'dirtier' than the ceramics. Better to have the 'whoa' and not worry too much about the cosmetics.
