The rear suspension that's still on the 78 convertible is in outstanding condition. I have that 73 I bought 3 months ago. There are 6 bolts that hold each side to the frame. Seems like a simple way to upgrade the 73. And while I'm at it LATE this year. I could upgrade to to the 403 with the entire front 78 frame assembly. Plus the 403 only has 154,000 on it. I ran a compression test early last year. All cyls were from a low of 145 to a top of 152 psi. Oil pressure at hot idle is about 30 psi. Uses a qt of oil every 12000 miles. Got all the parts to do it anyway. Bob Dunahugh
