Here is the ad I saw if you are interested... they are promoting it as a
self - defense option because you can make it strong enough to blind the
intruder/scary person.

Just get a green laser. The Human eye is tuned to green. Weak green wrecks temporary havoc on vision. Strong green destroys retina. Soviet have used shipborne green lasers against USAF pilots.
