More is better is the downfall of many. But in this case more bellows is better. Mine have stayed on since going to that type.

Alright, So this thread went dead with no definitive answers.
Has anyone tried this EMPI boot. This is the correct number for a 1975 Toronado and a whole lot of other 60s and 70s GM cars. I assume it is good for our GMCs.
Both of my convoluted Dorman boots are leaking / broken. I'm thinking of trying one that looks more like OEM which this one does.

Ken,
I purchased a case of those back in late 2014 and sold the last of them at the Rapid City SD GMCMI convention. I have a few that I kept for myself and the part number on the box is 86-1064-D sold by EMPI. Comes complete with the boot, grease and the 2 clips. Haven’t heard of any issues with the boots.
I appreciate the help that you gave me on the WIFI unit in AZ. Ran out of time and didn’t finish it. I will get with you in December to see if we can finally finish it and get it working.

Thanks,
If we cross paths before then, we can try to configure it before you go back south.
Based on your recommendation I think I'll order 2 and try them. I was not happy when I found that leaking Dorman boot. The number that you supplied is the one I am looking at.
