Jim K at Applied gave a great tech session on air bags at a GMCMI Rally 6 years ago. Love the club with it's rally's. His ask the people in the audience . How many of you have new air bags in their GMC. About everyone held up their hands. His comment then was. The bags are getting just as old on it , as in it. And if a new bag is bad when you get it. The warranty will expire before you find out. Plus the new bags are stored in a shape that's different than the installed shape. And this too is very hard on bags. So I went out to our GMC. That was at the campsite. And right then installed the new bags that were stored in an airtight bag. One started leaking right then. The other lasted about one year. ( With the warranty EXPIRED on both ) So I put my original air bags back on. And there still fine. The fire was Aug 28th. The bags still have the coach at the same height as 5 months ago. I now carry a good used bag. Bob Dunahugh78 Royale.
