Look on the bottom of the distributor. There should be a threaded 6-32 or 8-32 stud sticking out of the bottom. It really is a bolt threaded all the
way through from the inside to the outside of the lower casting. I believe is mounts a plate or something inside the distributor. I have forgotten
what it mounts inside for sure.
