I have recenly got into the water tank in my motorhome,( pulled it out and did leak check to make sure there are no leaks ) reinstalled and trying to fimilarize myself with the system.
My question is ? in filling the water tank is there no automatic shutoff ? so tank does not overfill ? I would hate to not pay attention and flood the motorhome !
thoughts and ideas ?
thanks,
Brian

Fresh water capacity is about 35 gallons. It fills from the outside. As long as the filler neck doesnt have any internal leaks, when its full it starts dumping the water to the outside of the coach. (the same way it would if you kept trying to pump gas and those tanks were full) As long as you dont have any internal tank leaks, it should not flood the inside of the coach.

Mine has an overflow tube that is plumbed to the top of the tank. It sneaks into the bathroom and drains through the passenger wheel well if I get forgetful and overfill. Probably the same tube doubles as the air vent...
