The fun continues as we get ready for the Lake Havasu Balloon Rally.

I started the old Norcold three way this am, won't stay lit........flames
coming out of the air intake ports prior to the orifice/jet.

Figured it was a plugged jet......pulled everything apart, cleaned a blew
out the lines.......I can see daylight thru the jet, hear air as I blow thru
it.

Reassembled.....same issue....

Have to get this done before the rain starts....again.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Len,

You might try phoning the gentleman. Maybe he can make a suggestion to get you on your way: David Force with RV Cooling Unit Warehouse. I bought a rebuilt cooling unit from him. He was helpful to me over the phone. I think this is his cell phone number. 901-337-nine nine four eight.

Len,

The air intake to the burner are after the LP orifice. The time that I experienced the same kind of problem was caused by a spider forming a
web under the burner screen, air did not remove it. The web was not visible, I had to get inside to scrape the web out.
Or replace the burner.

Good luck.

One work of warning when cleaning the gas office in any RV refrigerator is to use only monofilament fishing line of the right size and never any small wire or drill.

BINGO!

It was a spider web, or some kind of bug web, well-hidden and that basic same color as the inside of the burner. Cleaned it out and the 28 year old fridge fired right up!

Thanks!

First time I had a RV tech tell me that about an spider back in 1970, I
laughed at his comment, then I realized that he was telling me the truth.
Now , when I tell our customers, most laugh at me.
