Hi All
It is not just Microsoft that is backing away from TKIP. Here is a link to the WI-FI Alliance with their recommendations to
equipment suppliers.

It does seem a bit heavy handed but I don't see any way to get the WI-FI hotspots to change unless you make it more difficult for
their users to connect. As Ken says, it is not impossible to use TKIP, just much more difficult.
One solution may be to use netsh to import a profile from a flash drive and then connect using that profile. Netsh can use a script
file.
