Note that this yellow wire is run-hot only. It is not hot while cranking. The AUX tap on the fuse box inside the glove compartment is hot both during cranking and during running.

A very easy to pick up 12v only while engine is running is using the yellow wire in the resistor block controlling the fan in the AC Heater
compartment. It is located on the driver side. Cut the wire and use it to trigger one of the very common 12v automotive relays. Use the relay to
carry 12v to your added fuse panel. My coach has aux battery in engine compartment. That is where I picked up the 12v. This des not drain the
engine battery while in use.
I installed your standard 12v auto receptacle in the passenger side arm rest. There is enough room in the arm rest to install 2 of these easily.
Beats having "extension cords" hanging from the dash.
