Yes, there are pages and pages of info on this forum regarding leakage such as this, BUT.......mine appears to have a "dollup" (similar to a "schmear" or a "schtickel") of ATF hanging from the drain plug at all times. It came with a fiber type washer on that plug. I have tightened it as much as I dare. Thoughts?

Of course, no instructions came with it.

Thanks in advance.

Give the treads on the drain plug a little RTV black, should stop the dripping.

Larry,

Don't you know?: That's the built-in Automatic Chassis Rust-Proofer.

Exactly Ken...
It's a system perfected by Harley-Davidson. My '50 Pan has prevented my
left foot from rusting for many years now..and all thanks to the automatic
chain oiler..

HEY, I am familiar with this concept. I fly a 1950 Cessna 195 with a 330hp Jacobs radial. Know all about it. My plane is rust free....(of course it is built of aluminum)...... Surprised
