Thanks for the info Gary! I think I will love it too even if it it is
time, labor, water , and electric intensive. With the limited storage area
in the Glenbrook, it will be nice to know we can at least have clean
skivvies with out going to a laundry/amat {sp?} Couple of
questions....what brand/size/year is yours? And how long have you had it?
And what does SOB mean? Thanks! Nancy

We have one in our SOB. It only washes a pair of jeans and maybe a shirt.
Takes a long time. Uses LOTS of water, and can only run if the generator is
running or connected to a 50amp service. On the other hand, Diana loves
it...

Gary, the one I linked does not need electricity and very little water,
if I read the stuff correct.

That reminds me of when we got our first motorhome, a Dodge Travco, back in 1972.
We travelled all over the country with our four kids.
Michelle made her own “washing machine”. It was a large plastic container with a snap on lid.
She would fill it with clothes (mostly underwear and socks) and water and detergent. It would sit on the floor as we drove and did a great job of sloshing the clothes and washing them.
She would then rinse them in the sink.
The oven in the stove had a pilot light and she found that she could put clothes in the oven on a tray with just the pilot light and they would dry very well overnight.
It also did a good job drying the sneakers after the kids ran around in the rain.

No electricity consumed!

G'day,

We carry enough clothing (especially skivvies) in the Avion to go a couple weeks.

Helen changes hers daily but I can go four days on the same pair. I put them on normally the first day, the second day I wear them
back to front, the fourth day I turn them inside out, and the fourth day I wear them inside out back to front.

Regards,

PS - The first sentence is correct, however, I trust you realize I'M KIDDING about the rest! ;-)

PSPS - Some Other Brand (motorhome manufacturer such as WInnabago)

Emery, let's hope all of us can come up with creative solutions, like
Michelle, when we need them.
