Hi Espen,

Yes, the hand held display has a “large gauge” function where you can choose which of several parameters to show at the same time. Nice and brightly back lit. I am finding RPM, A/F ratio and water temp to be the three I have on most of the time. There is another display mode called “Dashboard” which shows a bazillian things in a list where you can scroll up and down as you wish. That is useful when you are standing still but way too busy to use while going down the road.

BTW, the adapter plate you showed is too thin to work if your manifold has individual holes for each of the Qjet primary and secondary as mine does on the Clasco. I am not sure if all MH manifolds are like that or if some are fully open (I don’t remember on the Royale). The manifold on the Clasco may be different in that it does not have a second temp sender port (for the TVS) like the manual shows. If the manifold is fully open (not individual holes) then no adapter is required as the throttle body is already machined to fit the mounting locations on a spread bore manifold. If your manifold has individual holes for each Qjet primary and secondary then you need to raise the throttle body up about 1/2” so the throttle plate butterfly valves will clear the flat interior part of the top of that style intake manifold. My carb had a thick (~1/4”) gasket so the adapter I used only resulted in about a 1/4” net rise. I was able to accommodate that by routing away more of the underside of the engine hatch and using some hardware store glue on weather stripping.
