Finally, a very pretty 26' GMC with N.C. Plates spotted on I-10, going West. New paint, perhaps light brown or tan with black around windows. Awnings on both sides, Alcoas, Ramco mirrors. Had roof rack with what appeared to be a ramp system strapped to the ladder portion of the rack. Had hitch tray, no Toad.
Time was 1330 CST. Near Pensacola. Tried to see if he would stop at AL rest area, he drove in, made a circle and then kept going. Bummer.
We need some sort of signal to indicate "time to talk."

10-4 That would really make me wonder if 2 of us (GMCers) met (while in the GMCs)and didn't connect. I'm sure it's happened before, though. You're right about needing our own radio channel or some other type of instant contact mechanism.

For the Hams in the crowd, all 85 or so of us, when in the GMC, I constantly monitor 146.52 simplex. I have had some interesting conversations while GMCing down the road. But not with other GMCs.
