I have the Dometic Convection Microwave. Works as one would expect. Nice that it includes the built-in kit for a finished look, including a 12v van to vent the heat produced into the interior of the coach.
Excellent price on the heat strip, however, lots of noise for not much heat. Stil, it is useful.

Rob,
I installed a Norcold 641 (but a three-way)about 4-1/2 years ago and couldn't be happier with it. While I usually drive with the propane off and the fridge running on 12 volts, I believe running it on propane while driving is perfectly safe and the method used by a lot, if not most RVers for years,
In anticipation of using the coach for my annual Thanksgiving sand dune trip, I turned on the fridge (on AC power) Sunday morning and by late afternoon, the ice cube trays were frozen and water bottles were starting to freeze. The thing sips propane while dry camping and works MUCH better then the old, leaky original Norcold that it replaced, even in the summer heat of Arizona.

Rob,
The previous previous owner of ours had the N641 (110V & propane) installed in January of 2010. It works very well (knock on wooden head) and I keep it running 24-7 whether the RV is plugged in to 220 or running on propane when traveling down the road or during a power failure here at the house. There are 2 things to watch out for with this fridge:
1) It still requires 12 volts to operate even when running on shore power, and it will drain the house battery down (to the "Lo DC alarm)in about 3-4 days. So you must have a charger/converter keeping the battery charged. Even when I have forgotten to charge the battery (I don't have a good converter yet), the freezer keeps stuff frozen solid for I don't know how long.
2)I don't think there is a drain for the freezer compartment, as evidenced by the frozen Coca-Cola under the freezer floor that is still in there after a Coke froze and leaked. I cleaned it up, but when I shut it down and had the RV parked on an angle, more Coke came up out of the joint between the floor and the shell. I tried to remove the floor to clean it up, but was not successful after removing the push-pin fasteners, (which were very difficult to remove and I could not retrieve the pins that I pushed down to release the fasteners). Bottom line, don't do that!
Other than those 2 foibles, it has been a real good fridge. The PPO paid $1256.00 for it plus installation by New England RV Service. I am not enthused by the workmanship of their installation, but that is only evident when looking inside the exterior vent.
And now 2 questions for anybody that has answers about another item on that site that is on sale, the Intelli-Power 9245 charger/converter. Is this the same unit that most of the RVers are using? Is $150.80 the right price to pay for it? And for Peer Oliver Schmidt (if he reads this), is that the same unit I helped you with the wire terminals a few months ago? I am ready to get one if the answers are affirmative and there are no complaints about the unit. Kinda tired of using the battery charger and constantly draining/charging the battery.

Terry,
The PD9245 is exactly what you need unless you have unusually high DC power
requirements. And the PD direct price for a RECONDITIONED ('tho' fully
warranteed) unit is $175, so the $150 is very good -- even though you can
get it for $5.00 less on eBay, delivered.

Thanks Ken!
The part # just looked different than I remembered, but the unit looked the same as what Peer had, so I wanted to make sure. I thought it was made by Progressive Dynamics, but that name isn't listed in the description at RV Adventure. Checking Ebay in just a minute, but I may just get it from the RV place, depends on what I see in the vendor reviews/feedback.
